First Lady Lou Henry Hoover led too busy a life to perfect the cooking skills learned at her mother's side. But she was a great hostess and spent her time in that role, leaving the cooking and recipes to others.
In his research for this book, however, the author found a number of family recipes and numerous stories that were too good to leave in the archives.
They appear here, with recipes and stories connected to illustrate humorous glimpses of mealtimes with the Hoovers over six decades. Good reading and good eating!
The book is in Very Good condition with only very light edge/corner wear.
